- Bachelor/Master degree in Life Sciences, Applied Physics, Chemistry or in other such position.ï‚·
- Well-grounded thinking and problem-solving.ï‚·
- Excellent understanding of Excel-based precise formulas.ï‚·
- Experience with (Computer)System Validation in an GXP environment.ï‚·
- Proven experience in automation, quality control or related fields.
- Experience with the Empower software platform is a plus.ï‚·

The Automation Specialist will work on the implementation of automation products. These are related to separation assays (i.e., chromatography) in a undersized, dedicated team. This role is project based. You will be part of the Empower project team. You will participate as project member. Build, design, and release of Empower report methods/projects, design and development of custom fields. Within this position you will:
- Support on automation Lab Systems processes, standards and data management. ï‚·
- Participates/lead lab systems initiatives and projects according to business needs – commercial or new products (e.g. analytical equipment systems, global platform projects like LIMS, SDMS etc., paper less opportunities). 
- Creates, reviews and updates related documentation. ï‚·
- Cooperates with key stakeholders and represents team in meetings. ï‚·
- Involved in continuous improvement projects. ï‚·
- In Charge of documenting administrator procedures, technical installation procedures and maintenance procedures.ï‚·
- Provide support in case of problems.ï‚·
- Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations and lean principles. Perform other work-related activities assigned by Supervisor.
In this position you will work at Johnson & Johnson Innovative medicine. The need for automation support on Lab Systems is growing. The quality of data management, systems processes and standards (leverage on existing and implementing new technologies) need improve continually. Lab Systems variate from analytical equipment to complex global platform projects.
