We are currently searching for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our Logistics team, part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden. This team consists of 15 employees with backgrounds in engineering, quality and compliance, supply chain and logistics. Logistics team is split into two main groups – logistics and material management. Logistics branch focuses on the processes around our warehouse and distribution center and supports the operations teams in projects and improvements. Material management branch is focused on optimizing our material portfolio – supporting planning in critical supply situation and driving improvements in operations.

You are pro-active, self-starting and takes ownership. Further you:

• Are available from Q1 of 2025
• Have a good knowledge of the English language, in speaking and writing
• Are available for a minimum of 6 months
• Have knowledge of MS Office, ERP/WMS systems in advantage
• Are available for 32-40 hours per week

In order to enable manufacturing of our products, 1000+ raw materials are ordered on continuous basis for delivery in our central warehouse at Schiphol- Rijk. Upon arrival, all orders are reported into an online excel database for tracking and information purposes. The process is manual, prone to error and not up to GMP standards. Therefore, we are looking for an alternative tool that could make it compliant and more efficient for the incoming team.
