No work days are the same! As a driver at Albert Heijn, you ensure that every order is neatly delivered to your front door. Sometimes you have to deal with unexpected challenges, such as a flat without an elevator or an address that is difficult to find. Fortunately, you're never alone. You start with three guided tours together with an experienced buddy. During your route, you will pick up empty bottles and crates and complete payments. The support and planning team is always ready to help you. At the end of your working day, you hand everything in at the HUB and leave the work bus tidy again.
- Workdays: Monday to Sunday, part-time or full-time.
- Flexible shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (availability for both shifts is required).
As a driver, you’ll start at the Albert Heijn HUB. The location is easily accessible by bike, scooter, or car. Here, you’ll find everything to kick off your workday: a cup of coffee, free fruit, and a team ready to support you. After thirteen weeks, you’ll receive your first raise and have plenty of opportunities to grow. For example, you could become a buddy and train new drivers, or “plusser,” where you’ll still enjoy driving a route occasionally. At Albert Heijn, we value your efforts and give you the space to develop yourself!
